Who is responsible

What we collect

When you send a quote request: your name; phone number; e-mail address; delivery city, PIN code and state; company name and GSTIN if you give them; the container you need (type, size, condition, quantity, use, unloading, timing, rental period); your message. With every request we also keep technical logs (IP address, date and time) for security. The containers you add to a quote list stay in your browser until you send or clear the list; they reach us only with your request.

Browsing the site without sending a request: the site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider keeps technical server logs.

Why, and on what basis

We use your request data for one purpose: to send it, through Quotbox, to up to 5 partner sellers who cover your PIN code and supply the first container of your request, so that they can contact you with a quote by phone, e-mail or WhatsApp, and to keep a record of the request and of your consent. The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. We do not use your data for marketing. The site is funded by the requests it forwards: Quotbox pays us for each request sent with your consent.

Who receives it

• Quotbox, the platform that receives each request from this site and forwards it to the partner sellers chosen for it. It acts under its own terms and is responsible for its own processing.
• Partner sellers, at most 5 per request. Each uses your details to prepare and send its quote and is responsible for its own processing.
• Our service providers, who process data on our behalf under contract: Cloudflare Pages (static pages) and a Cloudflare Pages Function that forwards quote requests.

How long we keep it

Request data is deleted 12 months after the request is sent, or earlier if you withdraw your consent. Security logs and the record of your consent are kept for at least 1 year, as the DPDP Rules require.

Your rights

You can withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, by writing to [email protected] with your request reference (or, if you no longer have it, the name, e-mail address and phone number you used and the day you sent it). We then stop processing and tell Quotbox and the sellers who received your request. You can ask to see, correct, complete, update or erase your data, and name another person to exercise these rights for you. We answer within 90 days at the latest.

To complain about how your data was used, see complaints. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

The quote form is for adults. You confirm that you are 18 or older when you send it; we do not knowingly accept requests from children.

Security and breaches

Data is sent over an encrypted connection and access is limited to the people and providers who need it. If a breach affects your data, we inform you without delay and report it to the Data Protection Board, as the law requires.

Language and changes

This policy is in English. You can ask for a copy in any language of the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution of India by writing to the address above. This version is dated 26 October 2026; we will show the date of any change here. The notice and consent rules of the DPDP Rules 2025 apply from 13 May 2027; this policy follows them already.
