Compare the prices

The container prices on the site are what sellers in India ask: listings that state an exact price, and the asking prices posted on IndiaMART and TradeIndia, read every week. Each container page gives a “from” price, a low market price, and a typical price, and the size and product pages list anonymous offers; the survey method explains which listings count. A figure the site works out itself, such as a delivered price, is labelled as an estimate, and a partner’s offer, where a page shows one, is labelled as such and kept out of the survey.

Send one request

The quote form takes a few minutes and costs nothing. You say:

• whether you want to buy or rent and, for a rental, for how long;
• the container, new or used, and how many;
• what it is for and when you need it;
• where it goes, by city, PIN code and state, and whether you can unload it;
• whether you are a business, with a GSTIN if you want a GST invoice, and how sellers can reach you.

“Add to quote”, on product pages and catalogue cards, puts up to five containers in one request: the first one decides which sellers receive it, the others go in your message, and those sellers may not supply them all. Before you send, you agree to share the request and confirm that you are 18 or older. The page then shows a reference number: keep it, and quote it in any message about your request. The guides help you choose the size, the type and the grade before you ask.

Sellers reply to you

Quotbox, the platform that forwards requests under its own terms, sends yours to at most 5 partner sellers who cover your PIN code and supply the first container you named; where fewer cover your PIN code, fewer receive it. Partners are businesses that sell, rent or convert containers regularly, and Quotbox checks each one when it joins: an active GSTIN on the GST portal, its company registration (CIN or Udyam) and PAN, its insurance, its yard or stock, seen on a visit or a video call, and its years in business or references. They are not necessarily the sellers whose offers you saw, and the site’s prices are not sent with your request: each partner quotes its own box, delivered, while the prices on the site are for the box alone.

Sellers contact you under their own name, by phone, e-mail or WhatsApp. We ask them to answer within one working day, even to decline; to quote a delivered price and say how GST applies; to send photos of the very box, its container number and its CSC plate when you ask; and to use your details only for your request (what we ask of partners). If no seller contacts you, or one does not keep these commitments, tell us: after a justified complaint, Quotbox removes the partner.

Before you pay

• Compare like with like: the same box, delivered to your PIN code, with GST and unloading stated in each quote.
• Check the box: its number, its CSC plate and its condition, on a visit or a video call (how to inspect a used container).
• Check the seller: its GSTIN on the GST portal, and pay an account in its own name (how to check a container supplier).
• Plan the delivery: access, supports and unloading (site preparation and unloading).

You pay the seller you choose, not Asia Containers: ask for a tax invoice in your name. The site sells no container and is not a party to the sale; it is funded by putting buyers in touch with partner sellers (how the site is funded).

Your data

Apart from our hosting provider, your request goes only to Quotbox and to the sellers who receive it, and it is not used for marketing. You can withdraw your consent at any time (your request and your data): we then tell Quotbox and the sellers who received it, and partners are asked to delete your details.
